The Story Behind See More Photography
One of the hardest things I've ever done is find a fitting name for my photography business. With so many genres of photography and so much variety in my offerings, I was stuck. I love all niches of photography, whether I shoot in them or not. So, trying to name a company I hoped would be able to expand and evolve was daunting. We've all seen movies where the character is trying to come up with a fake name by picking items around the room. Well, I even tried that. Nothing was standing out to me as the perfect name. It had to be special - something that was timeless. See More Photography encapsulates two important aspects for me: 1. The idea that everyone should see more photography and 2. It is a play on words for my furry best friend, Seymour.
The art of photography is something I've had a passion for since high school, and I love showing people my work. I truly believe photography is an art everyone can enjoy. It is so much more than just pushing a button and capturing a moment. Photos hold so much emotion, and so many memories all in one still frame. The work that goes into capturing all that information in one shot is something few understand and even fewer appreciate. See More photography is much more than just a company that provides a service. It provides an experience for my clients and showcase my work for others to enjoy.

Then we have the star of the show, Seymour. My little companion has had such an important impact on my life and my work. He's always my best model, assistant, and everything in between. From sleeping by me while editing, or posing for things I'm testing out he never leaves my side. The joy he brings me is something I hope to allow my clients to feel when they see their galleries. So, naming my business after him was a way for me to incorporate him even when he may not get to be right next to me.
